“The Price of Everything is Too Damn High” (Opinion)

I recently ran some errands in Lindeville and was blown away at the prices of everything.

I first stopped for groceries at the Food City, and you wouldn’t believe the cost of Crudite. I then walked over to the Dandelion Diner for a piece of pie and a cup of Joe. Not only were they out of most of their pies but a slice was $4 and coffee was nearly 5x what I remember paying in the past. When I was a kid, coffee was a quarter! I then checked on Ronnie’s Pawn Shop. Ole Ronnie said he’s had to raise prices on nearly all the items in his shop citing “woke marxism”. I then had to fill my tank before grabbing some dinner at Golden Corral and heading home. It cost me $58 to fill my tank! Has socialism finally come to Lindeville?
